We've seen a few combinations that can only be connected or disengaged using straps which may be a hassle and make it harder for parents to secure the car seat properly.

Easy to Assemble

Other models we tested such as the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule Urban Glide 2, and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal, were also fairly easy to put together. Contrary to that the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together as it requires two steps: connecting the lower anchors and using straps that go over the bottom of the carrier. It's heavy, so it takes two people to secure the carrier in the base, and then to remove it.

In our tests, we took around 5 minutes to put together the UPPAbaby Cruz. It's a fairly simple process when you take into account the time saved from not having to rip out all the pieces. The majority of these models come with an easy method of attaching and removing the toddler seat, but there are other options as well.
